Which medication??

Hello
I'm going through the menopause and main symptoms are horrible anxiety and mood swings.

I've just had a full hysterectomy due to cancer and have now been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer! My mental health is spiralling!

I can't have any hormones at all ( I was previously on HRT), But I need an anti anxiety medication pronto! Can anyone suggest anything? I've been looking to see what there and am not sure what I should be asking for.

Duloxetine works for me.

What are the side effects like?
Is it good for anxiety?

I had horrible anxiety.

I was in a difficult job and I was getting very anxious about almost every social interaction.

The anxiety is much better with the duloxetine.

I did also change jobs to be fair which has helped a bit.

No side effects that I noticed.

Other people don't necessarily get in with it so you may need to try more than one before you get a med that works for you.
