Season 5 No GIF by The Office

Hello Netters, it's me again!

Firstly, I wanted to say a huge thank you to the people who have left kind messages on any of my previous threads- including my last one regarding universal credit. I live away from my parents (who are often my main support network) and so being at the receiving end of kind , understanding and supportive internet people has definitely made the last few months a little bit more bearable for me.
I was booked in to have a 'further evidence' appointment at my job centre today as the tenancy agreement I provided at my last one was deemed 'out of date' (I am on a rolling contract!). I asked my landlord (who I fortunately have a good relationship with) and estate agents to send over an updated copy of my tenancy agreement, I waited 48 hours for a reply and then I texted my landlord separately at the weekend to ask- to which I did get a reply! The evidence I need is coming through in the next few days- hooray!
However because I don't have that evidence to hand yet (as far as I'm aware it's the only evidence I needed to bring, along with a utility bill and passport-for obvious reasons) I've asked if the appointment can be cancelled and rescheduled, I initially left a message on my journal over the weekend asking for the appointment to be cancelled so that it could be picked up this morning and rescheduled but did not receive a reply, so I tried calling the DWP helplines (the main one and the UC one) , and I got told I could no longer do anything with my appointments over the phone and that I should leave a message on my journal. Which I have now done, explaining that I don't have the remaining evidence I need and that I am happy to reschedule the appointment for another day this week or after the Xmas period, I also explained that the message would need a response and that I suffer from severe anxiety and attending JC appointments has been enflaming that (which I understand happens to a lot of people). I also mentioned I'd be happy to upload the document to my journal as soon as it arrives (which would surely make the process more prompt) and I've said I'm happy to do a phone appointment as well. I also said the message would need a response (because it's important!)
Does anyone else have any more suggestions as to what I can do? I am waiting for a response from DWP but fear nothing will come through until after my appointment was meant to be (it was meant to be this morning!). I realise I probably haven't helped matters leaving it so last minute and am aware I could still have gone to the JC without my tenancy agreement and just booked another appointment to prove it. If anyone is out there who has been in a similar situation, or has also dealt with the DWP whilst suffering from mh problems I'd love to find out.
I'm aware I'll likely be sanctioned for this! ROFL! , although I'm equally aware I've still got a few weeks to provide ID evidence (as I claimed 2 weeks ago and the ID period allows for a month to provide evidence).
I've always had a good experience on mumsnet so far and am thanking anyone who leaves a comment and gets to the end of the above in advance <3.

Can you ask to be changed over to appointments over the phone? I am on them due to the distance I would need to travel to appointments but there could be a way for them to switch you too due to mh issues might be worth asking.
