Pnd or just depression

So I've had depression and anxiety in the past. 6 months ago gave birth and had the usual "baby blues" as people kept saying. I started feeling really rubbish and depressed again about a month after birth and contacted the doctor who prescribed stronger antidepressants.

5 months in and I'm feeling in a worse place than I did before, I'm on edge all day and I can't pin point why I'm on edge, it's like the fear of the unknown. It gets to bed time and I just can't shut off at all, but then spend the day being knackered with very little Energy.

Has anyone else experienced similar

Hi OP you’re not alone. I experienced terrible PND after dc1. In my experience when I’ve been to the doctors they can do a PND depression questionnaire sort of thing and check your score as to how high or low it is.
(High meaning you’re very likely to have PND)
my anxiety has also always been all over the place and after dc1 my anxiety really was at its worst. If it’s not getting better for you I would say go back to the GP and fingers crossed they can offer you some help to support you💐
it does get better OP❤️
