Struggling

Hi i was abused when i was younger by an older cousin, since them all my family have passed away and i really have this need to want to tell them now, which is dumb i know as i cant, anyone know how to get over this please?

Have you had therapy? That seems the best first step.

I have had loads but face to face i cant talk about it, only my partner knows. I have told therapists that it has happened but no details, on the NHS 8 sessions maximum and don't feel comfortable in that time. Also tried rape canters but the closest one to me was costing £30 a week to get to and i couldn't afford that every week

Yeah you definitely need more than 8 sessions. I take it you don’t have private health care through work or anything?

I wondered if writing a letter to your family members with what you want to say might help. Then either storing them away or even posting them without an address. It might be therapeutic writing out everything.

I would recommend Better Help - much more affordable than F2F, and way better than any NHS service I have used in the past.

I struggle with F2F and phone, and with Better Help I had the option to just live chat message, and I felt a lot more comfortable with that.

Thank you both, I will look up better health. No I don't work at the moment so no health insurance, I tried putting it all on paper before it helped for a little but these feeling just keep coming back and I don't know what else to do. tried CBT but its like putting a plaster on a broken leg (I have a lot of other issues too) most of the therapists just say I'm too complicated for them and the time they have, cant get an appointment with the G.P. I was supposed to be starting some where a couple of years ago for long term but then had to move house and went out of their catchment. I don't know its just all a mess
