Yes. I have health anxiety too and went through a phase of obsessive breast checking and prodding to the point that they were sore & bleeding. I did get referred to the breast clinic for reassurance which I got but the problem is that I simply moved onto something else. They key is tackling the health anxiety itself of which I've had limited success sadly.

I suffer with the same thing.
I check constantly.
I even check with soap on my hands a knees. I always need reassurance from my doctor.
does anyone else check like this?

Do you have family history of breast cancer?

Flyhigher · 30/06/2024 02:52

If not they why are you so concerned?

If yes .. then can you just ask for a mammogram once a year? Or pay for one.

Then just try not to worry in between.

The only family history is my grandmother on my dads side.. she was diagnosed when she was 81

Does anyone else’s breasts feel different compared to lying down and standing?
I feel more standing and bending over than lying down.
