I suffer with general anxiety and I started on 50mg of Sertraline and after 3 weeks moved to 100mg but it gave me the worst dihoreah so after 4 days I went back down to 50mg. I stayed on this for 4 days and my dihoreah did go back to normal but I had the worst anxiety and a couple of anxiety attacks in those 4 days so I called up the GP this morning and asked to change which he has now given me Fluoxetine 20mg, I took this earlier today but now have had bad dihoreah again! I don't know what to do. Do I stick this one out or go back to the 50mg of Sertraline and hope the anxiety passes quickly? Did anyone still experience high anxiety almost 5 weeks in??
Also since changing to the 100mg I've really lost my appetite which still hasn't returned.
I was in Citalopram for years previously but had a massive crash which is why the doctor suggested I changed as he felt it wasn't working anymore.
