Ingested gel

Hi all,

I have bad anxiety at the moment and I'm probably overthinking this but I just can't help it.
My daughter who is 1 had an ultrasound on his bladder and they used the ultrasound gel as usual. During it he was very wriggly and got come gel on hand.
After the appointment I went straight to have lunch and forgot to wash hands. So I'm scared that it's been on my hand and gone on the food
And I've read it could be bad if ingested. Will this hurt or harm or affect anything in any type of way

Please be kind I know it may be silly but I just can't stop thinking about it.

Not sure if you're talking about yourself or your daughter (son?) but in any event there's zero risk of any danger.

Sorry was talking about myself ingesting it. My daughter surprisingly didn't get any on hers.

You could probably squirt that stuff directly into your mouth and be fine, sorry you are feeling so anxious.
