Binged again

Just had another massive food binge and feeling absolutely disgusting. I don't know why I keep doing it to myself and sabotaging myself. It's so incredibly unhealthy. I suffer from bad anxiety which I manage with medication and have had quite extensive counselling in the past. I just cannot seem to stop this cycle and I desperately want to.

Does anybody have any advice about conquering this binge eating cycle? I just don't know what to do

You need to remove yourself from wherever the food is and keep busy. Is there a project you could get into at work? What about a hobby or volunteer work? Keep yourself scheduled and you will break the habit of getting food from wherever you usually are and you'll be incapable to getting to food because you're be occupied.

I had a weight problem and although I have a very busy job, I realized that it was because I was bored and in the habit of snacking in order to have an excuse to get up from working. As soon as I started going to the gym first thing in the morning, I stopped eating too much. I have to fit my work into a smaller period of time and am happier to sit without getting up to eat because I work my energy off at the gym.

Good luck.

Thank you - I definitely did less binging when I did evening classes so perhaps this is something I should look into again. I just feel like there's this link where I feel like food is happiness and it will make me feel good but of course it never does and has the opposite effect afterwards
