Elvanse (ADHD) experience? Random overhyped / anxious days.

I'm on 50mg of Elvanse, have been for over 6 months. It's been life changing, in a slow burn of way. But with supply problems I keep having 1-4 days not medicated at the end of the month while waiting for re-supply of my prescription.

It's not been an issue, I'm back on my meds now after 2 days off them last week. But lately I keep having ad hoc days where I'm extremely overhyped, can't sit down, can't focus as my brain is racing, very anxious, doubling down on my social anxiety.

I don't know if it's connected to these um-medicated periods or my periods or something else. But today was horrendous. I needed to finish up something but I was almost manic in how I was thinking and at the same time overly anxious.

Does anyone experience these spells?

I've not been on it long but I find it's less effective just before & during period and feel more anxious and negative thoughts probably as it keeps my brain bit quieter usually. I'm not hyperactive busy adhder unmedicated.

It could be as its longer break your getting more side effects as readjust, I've not had more than a day off but when changing doses its taken few days to week to settle in again. Caffeine can double up stimulant effect and increase anxiety too in case it's a mixture of things.
