I have long had my suspicions that DD 15 has ADHD. Loads of her behaviours and emotions seem to fit and although she has probably masked for a long time, it is now taking its toll on her MH. School also agrees.
Given she is due to take her GCSEs this year I am keen to get her assessed urgently and know this will have to be undertaken privately.
My question is can anyone recommend a CAMHS psychiatrist/clinic that undertakes private work? My understanding is that this is the best way to ensure the GP is on board with prescribing any medication?
