Thank you all so much for your kind advice. I am new to Mums net and not even sure if I am replying correctly!

I did go to a NCT group but after 5 weeks I give up as everyone was in groups and although I tried to join them I felt like an outsider! I was asking Mums if they fancied a coffee or walk but no one seemed interested! In the end I thought sod it, I will meet someone like me when I least expect it and not to try to hard.

Just reading your responses has cheered me up a bit. xx
