Morning OP. I took these for a short while (after a bereavement) and they worked for me but you've got to give them 3-4 weeks before you start to feel any benefit.

For me, it was a very gradual process and one day I suddenly realised I wasn't crying all the time or getting stressed out and snappy. I came off them after about a year as I was generally feeling better and more positive about life.

Give them time to do their thing. I've read a few threads on here where people have said they felt a little worse when starting the tablets but it usually improves.

I was taken them a few years ago. They were ok, did the trick on a short term basis but I couldn't wait to come off them. I felt completely numb while on them. Literally felt nothing and I didn't like that at all. Was weaned off them within a year of first being prescribed them. They got me over the worst of the bereavement and anxiety I was experiencing.

Sorry I meant to mention the numb feeling - I had that too.
