Now day 8 10 mg
woke in night coughing got worried chest inf returned. So bad start today felt anxious
all day so far. Doc said raise to 20 mg after 14 days want to jump but would prefer a little longer to adjust. Again I expect I anxious to do it
bit scared

My DH went straight onto 40 mg years ago. But you should stick with what your GP advises.

hi everyone. I’m still anxious in mornings. I have health anxiety. Things I could cope with before are out of proportion. Even a blood test is dreadful and panicking
i have to have lots tests can’t cope
i know I’m out of proportion with this but try to control it but it so hard
i have gone for a lot tests. All good so far but even things I have done before is ridiculously hard. My body just won’t listen
overthinking about it
I have had few improvements. Mostly sleep better but needing toilet wakes me and then pray anxiety does not stop me getting back to sleep
im checking if colour in face ok asking if I’m pale etc
legs don’t want to move sometimes.
I just wish I was back to where I was
i was on cit for 15 yrs had health scare then doc st hosp said cit was worst for this so stopped abruptly 2 months later needed test then anxiety hit roof. Trying get up there

Are you having any counselling or CBT ?
My DH got better every week up until 6 months, so keep going.

Started cbt last week but it was talking about how all started so background got another Thurs so he said talk about my past

Started cbt last week background was taken. Next one Thurs collect my background. Hoping it helps

citalopram 7 days on 10mgs 2 on 20mgs just feel wired terrible anxiety can’t sit still heart racing all the time and terrible tinnitus. Shaking like mad all day weak and struggling to concentrate. Any comments that tell me this might go away?? The worst is the wired tinnitus feeling and constant shaking x

Hi, I've been put on citalopram twice (still on it now) and the first couple of weeks can be awful but I found I adjusted pretty soon after that, so hopefully you're almost through the worst bit! 💐

Thank you for answering…..did you have these side effects and did they go away? All of them are shocking but especially the intense shaking, wired feeling, tinnitus, weakness, zombie dissociated feeling especially if you’re only on it for anxiety. What dose are you on? Are you good now x
