Depressed and constantly drained

Hi does anyone have any advice

I had a baby 4 months ago and suffer post natal depression (had depression previously to pregnancy) but I have absolutely no motivation to do anything

I am constantly drained and tired and feel guilty for having hardly any energy to look after my baby. My partner does practically everything round the house and works from home as well. He also shares custody of another child with his ex who we have half the week

I am on antidepressants and have upped my dose again as I did before. I just can't shake the feelings I have off and feel so lazy but I am constantly drained. I wish I had the motivation to get up and do things but I just want to stay home and lie in bed

Does anyone have any advice? No point trying councillors etc cos the waiting times are just ridiculously long and the mental health services for everyone are so poor atm as everyone is suffering.

Thanks in advance for reading

When you previously struggled with depression and mental health issues, was there anything that you can recall that helped to get your through the tough times. As we all know, there is no one size fits all solution but getting out the house for a walk can be a simple way to make a start and feel better about ourselves.

Does your partner make you feel guilty about anything at home? Are they aware of how you're feeling?
