This is on my daughter's behalf really. She's 20. She's home for the summer but is registered with a doctor at the other end of the country where she is at uni. She needs more drugs for her ADHD but her practice says she needs an annual review with a psychiatrist before she can have any more. But she's signed off with the psych she had been seeing here and hasn't got a new one organised at uni. So now she's desperate for medication and there's no way of getting any.
She's been trying to speak to her doctors all week but keeps not getting calls back for whatever reason and basically cannot function or organise these sort of tasks without meds!
Can she see a private psychiatrist without a referral? Can the uni help? Can the local doctor help? I don't know who to call... All suggestions welcome, thanks in advance.
