Meditation - how did you get into it?

I've tried getting into this a few times now but I'll do a few weeks but it doesn't become a habit

I tried by using the calm app, or by listening to music and just doing about 10 minutes a day

I didn't feel any benefits really, perhaps I would have been more motivated to stick with is it if I can

Any tips or how to do it or get into it? I'd be happy to do a course if that helped

I tried it a couple of times and couldn't get into it but then had a bit of a mental breakdown so gave it another go and persevered and I love it now. You can download an app called Insight timer that has a lot of good material. I tend to do a different meditation each morning now that puts me in a better mood for the day. They also have courses, including for beginners.

It definitely takes patience but so worth it.
