I’m started on Mirtazpine for my anxiety /depression. I’m on day 12 and I’ve seen no improvement . Thanks

Yes! It's been a lifesaver here. Mainly as I also wasn't sleeping due to anxiety and mirtazapine knocks me out reliably every night.

@Imdrivinginmygetawaycar thanks for your reply . When did you start noticing any improvement? I’m on 15mg . The only improvement I’ve had is I’m sleeping a lot better . Thanks

I think they say give it 4-6 weeks. I'm over a year now so can't remember exactly.

But the regular sleep is definitely good for anxiety

Thank you @Imdrivinginmygetawaycar

Similar story to @Imdrivinginmygetawaycar , being able to sleep properly has made all the difference. I'm exercising, losing weight, and generally functioning well. Thank god.

Ah I'm not exercising or losing weight unfortunately...

I was on it for a couple of years. I slept so well on it, but the side effects were terrible, mainly the weight gain. It took a long time to wean myself off it.

I have been on mirtazapine for many years. It takes a few weeks to feel the effects.

Thanks @DRS1970

Hi, I have started to take Mirtazapine 30mg due to health anxiety that developed into depression. I think depression did went away although still got anxiety. My anxiety mainly is connected to the symptoms I am experiencing in my body. I don’t really remember if Some of my symptoms have developed after I have started to take the pills or before. For example I have started to have burning lips on and off as well as goose bumps feeling sensation on the top of my head- can’t really remember if they appeared before or after I have started to take Mirtazapine. Have been taking the pills for 2 months now and I think I have started to be hypersensitive and feel almost everything what happens to my body-like stinging, burning sensations in front of my ribs and at the whole upper back, shoulders. I feel it’s like never ending circle, there are moments when I do not feel symptoms or feel them less and then I am like a new, different person with full of energy and happiness, however when those are back I am feeling hopeless again. Has anyone experienced something like that while beeing on pills? Thank you
