Hi I've been on elvanse 50mg which helped with motivation before this barely got out of bed cleaning was overwhelming, was slowly evaporating as a person, although I think my main frustration was from being unable to do my uni work despite how hard I try.

Elvanse have not been effective for my focus so was upped 70mg, awful insomnia and reverted back to doom scrolling and usual adhd symptoms, was going to try concerta but been given delmosart, what could I expect?

I'm on my last legs at uni. However despite that I can't focus the 50mg of elvanse helped alot in other ways so I may revert back to that if unsuccessful, I do feel abit hopeless tbh

Hi there adhd mum 👋
I have found that 70mg Elvanse made me really anxious and agitated but 50mg only worked for a 2 hour window then I felt more depleted of dopamine than before.
60mg with 10mg Dexanfetamine 5 hours later has been the best route for me. The quicker release stimulant keeps me focussed and emotionally regulated for longer.
I have noticed that pre period the drugs don’t work as well which is going to get increasingly hard to manage when peri menopause fully sets in.
I feel for you, it is very exhausting being a mum let alone doing a degree.
I hope you’ll be okay.
