I've been on it for almost 8 years as I had bad pnd. When I've tried to reduce them it seemed to coincide with an event which made me feel like I needed them so I went back on them.
I have noticed in 8 years my memory and concentration is really poor. It wasn't beforehand. Could be due to tiredness and children age etc but I've read that citalopram may cause it. I have a big examination oct and I'm wondering whether to try and wean off them with my drs advice
Has anyone managed to feel better after stopping them?

Hi, what dose do you take?

I am not sure it would be good to try and wean off them in the run up to the exam in case you have side effects etc, especially if trying to reduce your dose in the past has been challenging.

If you want to wean off or reduce your dose make sure you speak with your doctor first and take things very gradually.
