Astrologer getting in my head

I'm in my late 30s, married with a loving DH (my 2nd marriage) and my DC is a toddler. Decent paying job albeit intense.

Prior to this I had a rocky life - suffered child abuse till I was 12, emotional abuse from ex-DH.
For the first time in my life I'm in a good place however I have great anxiety about the future and having the happiness that I have now taken away from me. I can't stop worrying and embarrassingly have started consulting an astrologer in the hope of getting some sort of reassurance that my future will be ok.

Unfortunately the astrologer i consulted has said that from now till 2028 I will have a rocky time financially and with my DH hence I should not have a second baby (we were planning on trying for second child this year). This has really affected me as in 2028 I will be 44. He even said that I already have one child and now is the best time for contemplation not to be greedy to want more.

I don't know what I should do as I'm afraid that if I wait till I'm 44 I will be too old to gave a child and might not be able to conceive. Also frankly I'd rather have my second child soon as don't want a big age gap between my two children.

I know I sound really stupid but I don't know what I should do. Do I follow what the astrologer has said or do I do what I want.

Im afraid that if I go ahead and try for a child Im taking a risk and my life can get rocky again. Im actually incredibly anxious now.

My parents/friends/family aren't the sort who believe in astrology. I did some googling and found this astrologer so was not someone recommended to me. I tried another astrologer who said that my husband will cheat on me in a few years time which I'm gobsmacked by as my DH is a good man. And now I'm paranoid.

Any advice or anyone who has been in a similar position before? Thank you.

Op, I know that a lot of posters will baulk at what I'm about to say but this is what happened to me.

I used to be completely obsessed with astrology. I read my daily, weekly, monthly and yearly horoscopes and not just from one source, but many, cross referencing and analysing, in the hope of finding a common theme. I read the horoscopes of other people in my life too, as a creepy way to get inside their minds, and was so paranoid if their horoscope for that day was talking about someone else, eg 'be careful around anyone who seems too good to be true'. I would internalise this and think 'they're talking about me!' and this would reinforce my negative self concept.

One evening in 2014 I was reading my horoscopes and got the weirdest thought pop into my head. It wasn't like a voice, but was like a thunderbolt sense of realisation: God doesn't want me to read my Horoscope. The thought came on so strongly that I closed what I was reading there and then and never once read my horoscopes ever again.

I cannot tell you the freedom I experienced from cutting that rubbish out of my life. I became a Christian a few years later and now believe that horoscopes and psychic readings etc often lead people into psychological traps devoid of peace.

When I started seeing my husband I had a tarot reading and was told that my husband was not the one for me and to keep looking. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary recently and are very happy with a really wonderful life together!

As a Christian, I place my trust in God and don't try to find out the future. Maybe you don't share my faith, but I suggest you reinvest your money in some good therapy to work through ways to handle feeling out of control about the future or making the right decision.

Keep away from the horoscopes, OP.

I get it—dealing with conflicting advice from astrologers can be a real mind-bender. I once used the Twin Flame Calculator just to see what the fuss was about. It was entertaining, if nothing else, and gave me a different perspective on relationship dynamics.

If the astrologer’s predictions are causing you more stress than reassurance, it might be worth questioning their accuracy. Your gut feeling about having another child is important, too. Life's uncertain enough without letting every horoscope dictate your choices. Maybe trust your instincts a bit more than those cosmic forecasts.

Question: If your astrologer is able to predict the future so accurately why is he/she not a multi-millionaire who has made a fortune predicting the results of horse races and movements the stock exchange?

Answer: Because he/she is a complete charlatan who cannot in fact predict the future but instead makes a living conning vulnerable and impressionable people.

Please OP do not spend another penny on this con artist and do not believe a word they say. It is NOT true

Astrology isn't about what Librans should eat for breakfast or Capricorn's are going to meet a tall stranger it is very much about the individuals birth place, exact birth time and date

It might not be able to predict what lottery numbers to do but it might tell you that you could experience some random good luck

But that could be anything from finding a bargain in a sale to driving into town and finding a parking space outside of the shop you want to go to, to winning the lottery (although that is usually dependant on if other planets in your birth chart are aligned)

In this case you could find yourself in financial difficulty because you have had another child, in which case you know by a certain time things will start to ease up.

I use astrology as a tool in life. A guide to let me know what is on the horizon Ultimately though free will is everything

Then again if you move countries you can rewrite your birth chart to get a better influences. (Astrocartography)
