Just wondering if anyone else is supporting a family member with bipolar? How do you cope?

One day at a time is all I can come up with op Shock

It's trying it's tiring it's relentless at times and in crisis it's even harder.

Do you have any help from any services?

We don't as they are not interested because we are keeping the person safe or as safe as we can regardless of how detrimental it is to others they don't want to know

Does the person you support engage with services at all themself?

My family member is currently hospitalised for treatment for mania, so in some ways we are getting some support now. We’d been trying to get help for months for this current episode but it eventually reached crisis point and hospital was the only option.
