Has anyone used this service?
I need to reach out to someone but am scared to call the Samaritan’s and physically speak to someone.
Is Shout a text service?

I believe so, yes

Yes, Shout is text only. Give it a try - you can stop the conversation at any time of your choosing, if you are uncomfortable.

Oh, and you can also email Samaritans, but you won't get an instant response.

@Theredfolder I've phoned the samaritans several times over the years when my mental health has been bad. They are really nice and patient. X

I have been thinking about calling the Samaritans as well.
