Anti depressant that doesn't cause weight gain

I've just had an extremely unhelpful appointment with my GP regarding wanting to change my antidepressants to something that is less likely to cause weight gain (currently on escitalopram) to be told they all cause weight gain? I'm doing a lot to try and maintain my weight and failing with it creeping up every week which is getting me down. I know different people can react differently to different medications but was wondering if anyone has had experience with an antidepressant that doesn't cause weight gain for them? Thanks!

I'm somewhat overweight but haven't gained weight on either Setraline or Fluoxetine.

I have now been put on sertraline so fingers crossed!

Hi,
I've recently started taking fluoxetine sand my GP said that it is a 'weight neutral' AD so shouldn't cause weight gain.

DH has lost a tonne of weight since starting sertraline. However he was very skinny to begin with and this isn't a good thing! It may be his anxiety making him lose weight though.
