As much as I love my baby's, sometimes I really don't like being a mum, it can be so hard and testing sometimes. It saddens me

All mum’s feel this way, don’t think you are strange or unusual! It’s serious mental and physical work and the responsibility is daunting. Also as mothers we are great at feeling guilty for any mistake or anything that goes wrong in our child’s life. It’s the nature of the role. My kids are young adults now and are always doing sweet and lovely things for me, so it does pay off 😂

It is relentless! I love mine too but I do have trouble with the 24/7, relentless, no break aspect of being a mum. I love being a mum, I just don’t have the energy to love it every second of every day. I think that is pretty normal though? So it doesn’t make me sad. When I get to a point of disliking being with my DC, that’s usually a hint that I need to get a baby sitter so DH and I have a night together or for ourselves separately with friends. We have engineered sleepovers to same end as well- a child free night.
