Getting worse

I started on fluoxetine 3 weeks ago 20mg had them increased to 40mg I don’t feel like I am getting better, if anything I’m worse. Severe depression, anxiety, racing thoughts, constant worrying, and feeling scared all the time. I’m just looking for someone to tell me I will get better soon, and everything will be ok i am struggling.

i am feeling a little bit better today, thanks for asking. I have just been trying to keep busy. X

My DA was prescribed fluxotine recently and I know that she definitely felt worse but now is feeling much better and has even start a new activity.

How long did it take for him to get better, this is my 4th week taking them, I’m just worried that today is a one off and I will be worse tomorrow. X

I'd say it was about 4 weeks. I can remember at that point she was wanting to stop taking them but suddenly started feeling a lot better.
