Let people down

I don't like myself. I can't continue on a course and feel like I've failed.

I know deep down I haven't failed but I feel like I'm letting people down.

I've decided on another career path which will take some work.

How I get over these feelings?

It sounds as though you've taken a step in the right direction by choosing an alternative career path - try to focus on this positive choice.

If the course you were on wasn't right for you, there was no point continuing - sometimes you have to recognise that the most sensible thing to do is choose a different career path, rather than pointlessly investing more time and effort in something that' never going to work out.

I am the people who care about you will see that and won't feel let down.

Once you get started on the new career path you will feel much better and possibly come to see the previous course as a needed step to help you work out the right career for you.
