Well, lots of DHs are not supportive enough all the time. Sometimes it makes you feel better to tell some one who doesn't know you so won't be judging him for ever after! Anything in particular?

Hi Wangle, whats wrong, what is making it a bad day for you?

wangle99 · 13/02/2008 09:20

I am a recovering emetophobe, am doing ok. DD sick this morning and I'm doing ok but DH's attitude was 'well you need to recover from this and i'm not going to wrap you in cotton wool'.

I can understand his theory, but i have an urge to slice big chunks out of my arm lol (not really funny but if i don't laugh i'll cry).

Just want to scream really loud

I guess your DH doesn't understand how you feel, and thats why he is not being sympathetic, its difficult to understand unless you have experienced it.

Keep posting on here because there are loads of people who can support you, who understand and can help you, even just posting helps I find, you don't feel alone with your problems.

Take care

It has helped just knowing somewhere I can write tbh.

MIL came in and sat with DD so I could pop to the post office (put some postage on ebay parcels and HAD to send today). Fresh air made me feel slightly more human.

DD feeling alot better now. I just wish I could deal with this like a 'normal' person.

Yeah me too mate. I have just finished 'coming off' prozac and I am mid cycle which always makes me feel rough. Its half term and the kids are being shits. I am stuck in the house (beautiful weather but kids refuse to play out). No money and no car. Also have been trying to cut down on my wine consumption since the new year and the urge to get some in for tonight is overwhelming. DH would go mental but then he isnt having the week I am is he?.

good luck, you arent the only one!. My DH nevers understands and barely supports me emotionally. The DC are absolute idiots (well they are 4 and 3) and I have had enough. Feel like walking away. Have not been on my own at all for weeks now due to kids and night job. Am so tired I feel sick. Soz for rant.

Anyone know any normal' people we could ask about how to deal with stuff???
