How to balance SAHM life

When I had my first almost 2 years ago now, at the time everything was OK. Now we have moved and DH works alot and when he's not working he's studying towards a degree.

When he's out of the house I get on with house work and doing mommy stuff. I dread him going to work because being alone sucks.
I get stuck in my thoughts and often have anxiety attacks. I try to make plans with a friend or family at least once a week which is great. When they say they're busy though, I start to spiral!

How can I cope with being alone all day?

Sorry if I’m stating the obvious, but is there a reason you’re not working?

Get a job - it seems like an easy solution

Put your DC in nursery and get out of the house and back to work.

Are you receiving any medical/counselling support?

I used to go to toddler groups, churches often run them. I also asked people from my NCT group and the local NCT area grouo if a coffee and a play was possible.
I posted on local mums groups on FaceBook about meet ups in parks

I kept myself busy that way. Often had other mums around to make cakes or do art stuff. I hosted a lot

Think about going back to work, at least part time.
Get out and do stuff and meet people. I moved 200 miles with a baby but went to every playgroup / rhyme time / buggy exercise class going to get me out and meeting people. Family are 3hours away so couldn't rely on them.

The SAHM way of life is not for everyone. Doesnt sound as if it's the right life for you. I agree get a job.

Sounds like it’s time to get a job
