Karms for Teenager

Hi everyone
My dd15 is suffering with anxiety and is struggling with school ans has to leave lessons a lot. She is receiving some private counselling (MH services have no resource, waited 9 months). I'm aware that at her age GP will be reluctant to prescribe SSRIs and was wondering if she could try Kalms?
Conflicting advice on internet regarding age but it seems it's due to no data more than anything.
Thanks

Mine intermittently uses the lavender kalms, started around 14/15 for similar reasons to your dd. They help a bit, not massively and I don't know if it's largely the placebo effect, but she thinks she does feel some benefit. (Says they have a bit of an aftertaste).

Valerian can also be useful. It was suggested by my sons psychiatrist- she didn’t want to prescribe as it can be difficult to get doses right we teens. She said taking double the dose was ok. It was effective and helped him to sleep
