Feeling Lost

My husband found out at the start of lockdown that he had Parkinson's Disease and we were just getting on top of this when in November 2022 he was also diagnosed with bladder cancer and now also kidney cancer. As an autistic woman, I am very much feeling lost, and my best friend is just totally absent lately. Could really do with someone impartial to speak with 😪

Everything seems to be about his illness and when I try to shift subjects and try to get him to focus on something else or another activity, he says he's tired and can't do what he used to. He has just retired from work and is out of routine but when someone else asks him to do something, he's right there. This has come on top of an ever widening gap between us and whilst we love each other, our relationship gets lost in it all. I feel alone but have said that to him before and he didn't listen then either.
