Is this anxiety?

I’m having a stressful time at work at the moment due to changes in the dept. I’ve never been good with changes as it is. The last month I’ve struggled with sleep, a light pins and needles feeling through my legs, feeling bit shaky inside and can’t make a decision for the life of me. I feel rubbish really.
Could this be anxiety or the menopause?

Sounds a lot like anxiety but could also be menopause- either way it’s rubbish I know. Either way your GP should be able to help, you don’t have to just put up with it.

Thanks. I’m going to make an appointment to see the Doctor on Monday. I can’t go in feeling this bad.

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a stressful time at work. The symptoms you're experiencing could be related to anxiety, especially given the changes happening in your department. Anxiety can manifest in physical symptoms such as pins and needles, shaky feeling, and difficulty sleeping.

However, it's also possible that your symptoms could be related to menopause, as hormonal changes can also cause physical and emotional symptoms.
It may be helpful to talk to a healthcare professional to explore what could be causing your symptoms and get the appropriate support and treatment.

In the meantime, practicing self-care techniques such as mindfulness, relaxation exercises, and exercise can help alleviate stress and improve overall well-being.
