Can't stop Overthinking night out

I have social anxiety, and went out last night with some friends we don't know that well. Had a good night, but this morning I can't stop overthinking something I did and said, and it's ruined the whole night! Worried what they think of me!
Any tips to help? It's bloody exhausting!!

I know the feeling! Have you tried headspace and/or exercise? Both help clear my mind when am anxious...

Try and focus on the here and now. You can affect the past and they were probably too tired, drunk or deafened to hear or notice you. You said you had a great night and they doubtless did too. Your probably the only one thinking about it.

I do this too. What helps me is the worry half hour trick, so I'm only allowed to worry about it during a certain time (30 allocated mins, like 12-12.30pm) each day. I have to be very strict and tell myself I'm not allowed to think about them if the worries arrive during non-worrying time!

I also try to remind myself that I don't think I've ever come away from nights out thinking 'I can't believe x said/did this' so it's very unlikely your friends will be thinking that.

Be very kind to yourself OP, it is exhausting Flowers
