My husband has mental health problems which seem to be exacerbated by a mini-stroke he had in December, and by autism. We do not live together, but we see each other every day and communicate throughout the day.
He was admitted to hospital this week after taking too many aspirin (deliberately). I went to see him, and he seemed very confused and delusional. The Dr told me he suspected psychotic depression and delirium.
He was discharged yesterday to a mental health ATU about 60 miles from where we live. I have spoken to him on the phone, and he is still very confused.
On a practical note, if I cannot get to see him for a couple of days, what is the best service to use to get toiletries and clothes to him?
