Does anyone else feel strange and detached around the change of seasons?

Or just me?

I've had it my whole life.

The only way I can describe it is that I feel very different mentally at each point in the year and when there is a shift in the seasons I feel really out of sorts and not sure what I'm doing with myself or what I'm looking forward to... almost to the point that I feel stressed and anxious and sometimes depressed as well.

Anyone else have this?

I get this, particularly summer to autumn. Which is weird, because I love autumn and not a massive fan of hot weather 😁.

I do! Even when it's my favourite season, the change really puts me on edge.

No but I ALWAYS get a weird swollen horrible throat.

I posted on this thread back when it began and here I am again, having been feeling very odd once more with the approach of autumn. Bizarrely it was only a few days ago that I realised what was happening to me again, even though I've been feeling this way for a couple of weeks.

YES…I just said to my husband yesterday that I feel totally out of sorts and like this present time doesn’t feel like any particular time at all…

I think this time between summer ending and the anticipation of autumn / winter just feels like it’s dragging on. I love the latter two seasons so much, so it’s not like I’m mourning the summer…I actually think the lingering warmth is irritating me as I’m longing to just settle into cosy clothes etc.

I only get this in Autumn. It's a weird feeling like new year. I always feel like it's the end of something and I get very nostalgic and panicky about life passing me by.
Weird!

I have only just seen this thread but I’m so relieved to see other people feeling the same as me! I only really feel like this Summer into Autumn. I dislike it so much and actually have a sort of ache in my body of sadness. I have had it since I was a child and we used to sing autumn based hymns in the new term at school, it makes me feel so melancholy.
The unseasonal warmth is very disconcerting too as it would normally feel much cooler and I could start to get over this feeling more quickly. It kind of feels like no man’s land at the moment.

It's interesting you say this because I get very energetic in the change of seasons, in particular Autumn. I don't know what it is. I imagine it's a bit like the high of bi-polar. I get very creative, organised, sleep well, get loads done. I love it, and wish I could be like this all the time!
