Sertraline increased - horrible!

Hi saw GP a week ago and he changed my sertraline from 75mg to 100mg. Day 7 and I feel horrible still, really tired, brain won’t work. I went to ask for counselling support for trauma and walked away with this as a “solution”. Tempted to drop back down as feel like I’ve been drugged. Well guess I have. Question is does it improve? Or is this what 100 feels like? I didn’t feel the change from 50 to 75. Wondering if I need to give it longer as feel like a zombie and not functioning.

It can take 4-6 weeks to settle on. 100mg is great for me, I didn’t feel instantly better though. I had to ride out the spaced out first few weeks but then felt so content and calm.

Take it for 2 weeks and then make a decision
Personally it's great for me, I take 200mg and plan to stay on this dose forever

I went from 50 to 100mg. I almost stopped because the side effects were awful - insomnia, headaches, migraines, nausea, lethargy and fatigue. I’ve stopped so many times before due to the side effects but this time I was determined. I’m so glad I persevered - I’d say they started to ease off after about three weeks and gradually went away. Please do try persevere and don’t do what I did - kept giving up, making myself feel worse and being back to square one. You can do this ❤️❤️
