I’ve been on 50mg for coming up to 5 weeks this Friday, whilst my anxiety has improved massively I just feel so up and down mood wise, little motivation, just really low. I don’t remember feeling like this before I started medication…does anyone know if this is normal? Did they feel like this after a few weeks? Really hoping it goes soon!

I would have thought you'd be seeing an positive effect after five weeks.

There are lots of antidepressants out there so please don't feel you're stuck with this one if it isn't working for you. We're all individuals. I don't like the traditional SSRIs myself because they make me jittery.

Great that your anxiety has improved but antidepressants aren’t a cure all. Are you doing any psychological therapy?

Took about 5-8 weeks for me. But only after I upped my dose at 10 weeks did things really start to improve massively

Didn't work for me at all. If in doubt go back to your GP (good luck getting an appointment!)

For my daughter it was up and down until she got to 150mgs and it was the correct dose but it took 4 months to get to the right dose and level out. Maybe you need 75 or 100mg?
