Hi

My 7yo dd is suffering from anxiety which is mainly around school. We are doing the Step by Step plan (from the Cathy Creswell book) with her in conjunction with someone from our local mental health team. One of the steps/challenges we have set is for her to watch a video explaining and being encouraging about overcoming anxiety each day for a week (but not just meditation/relaxation videos, as we have been doing these separately). Has anyone got any recommendations for videos (preferably cartoons) suitable for children they can share links to?

For reference (and for anyone else looking at this thread later for their own ideas), we have watched a while ago these videos:

Fight, Flight, Freeze - A Guide to Anxiety for Kids

Managing Worry and Anxiety for Kids

We have also broadened the challenge to include books and have an activity book I found in The Works about worry and she has just really enjoyed 'All Birds have Anxiety', but it would be great to find more videos as I think she'll engage with these really quickly.

Thanks!

Have a chat with Therese Langford of www.facebook.com/calmmindhypnotherapy - she specialises in working with children with anxiety and mental health issues. And she's lovely!

Thanks, I've messaged her 🙂

Does anyone else have any suggestions?
