Increasing sertraline

Evening everyone

I increased my dose of sertraline at the weekend from 50 to 100 and I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of increasing dosage. I know that I might have a dip before I go up and I'm prepared for that (although it terrifies me too!) but just wanted to try and gauge other's experiences.

I did exactly that 6 months ago. No side effects whatsoever, but it worked immediately to soothe my anxiety!

I went from 50 to 100 and it was fine, love it!

Yes, i increased and it did help. The side effects were much easier than when I first started.

I went from 75 to 100 and had no side effects. Going from 100 to 125 was horrendous with increased anxiety. I'm now 10 days on 125mg and still pretty crappy.

The worst for me was nothing to 50mg. The side effects have been much less increasing from 50mg to 100mg then 100mg to 150mg.

Going to try and stay at 150mg for now as it leaves room to go up or down if needed eventually.
