I just can’t go on like this . Crisis team involved , they are liaising with disabled Childrens team social workers as my son has autism adhd severe challenging behaviours . I think they may remove him . He’s 11 . And 2:1 support everywhere except home . I rang crisis last night and social workers new this morning . Social worker coming out for 2 hrs tomorrow . She wants us to go out someplace . I think she’s going to be assessing my parenting but she says she wants to support as I have no help over the weekend .

mental health team want me to go to a crisis house but social services cannot find help for my son . I don’t want them coming into my home If I have to leave plus I can only stay at the crisis house one week max

What is happening at home?

Hi starsparkle08,

We are really sorry to hear life is so tough for you right now.

When any of our users are struggling we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources. You can also go to the Samaritans website
or email them on [email protected]. Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek real-life help and support as well.

Some further support links which may be of interest:
NHS: Where to get urgent help for mental health
NHS: Looking after your mental health

We hope things look a bit brighter for you soon.

Very best wishes from MNHQ

So if I’ve got this right you’ve been offered a week maximum at a crisis house, but you can’t accept the place as there’s nowhere your son can be cared for in this time?

Your son has 2:1 support outside of home. Is it possible for you to access the care at the crisis house just whilst your son is out during the day? Or practically is this just not an option?

I can’t access the crisis house unless I move out I don’t think . They also can’t find a placement for him

I can’t end my life because of my children. You have to hold on for them. You are stronger than you think
