Aggression

If you've realised you have an aggressive streak when stressed/triggered by something how did you cope/ manage/ stop/ redirect it? I'm talking aggression like slamming doors, swearing, banging things down...I've inherited my father's trait sadly.

Gentle bump...no pun intended!

You didn't inherit it. You learned it. As a child you saw your father get what he wanted by behaving badly and therefore you saw that it was effective. Even though you know, rationally, that it's not acceptable your subconscious can override that reasoning - because you witnessed it as a strategy that worked. It's something that responds very well to remedial hypnosis.
