Hi all, does anyone know if 50mg is less effective than 100mg dose? I am taking this for postnatal anxiety. I've been on 50mg for the past 3 weeks and I felt better after day 2... and now feel a lot better 3 weeks on however I still get slight anxiety but not as bad, it's helping with my intrusive thoughts. Is it worth upping my dose to 100mg?

See what the doctor thinks?

I had 50mg for four weeks then at my first review the doctor put me up to 100mg. I’ve been on that for four weeks now and we are giving it another four weeks before considering increasing or changing.

It takes a bit of time for your body to feel the full effects and anxiety can increase a bit before it gets better. Definitely have a chat with your doctor. It's good you have noticed feeling better though.

I’m on 50mg but only 3 weeks in. I still feel the same but I don’t feel worse which is something I suppose

I was on 200mg for a long time.
I managed to cut down to 50mg with my GP's help although I did yo-yo between 150 & 100 for several months.
Speak to your GP.
