Hello, being brave and posting! i've coped with chronic pain for years and my mental health has been really strong. I took the wrong advice 5 weeks ago and came off a high dose oestrogen patch HRT for chronic migraines. 1 week later. I completely lost the plot, uncontrolled weeping, unable to cope, function, work or look after my children. Seen GP, given morphine and valium. Realised a week later what had happened, so of course put the patches back on and the hormone clinic assured me that it would all stabilise. 4 weeks on and it really isn't! I was also given escitalopram and one dose with morphine / valium gave me an all night terrifying episode. I'm really reluctant to try more drugs as i've got ehlers danlos and a very sensitive system. Literally feel like i've had a nervous breakdown from nowwhere. I'm awful all day, then just about recover in the evening. I can't focus on any of the normal stuff or face going out, driving to school, work etc. Feels beyond my control. I just want to recover. I've just started Ashwaganda, any advice or help would be amazing. Thank you x

Sorry not much advice about your condition but it certainly doesn't sound like the nervous breakdown came out of nowhere! You're under a considerable amount of stress.
