Does anyone else feel like this?

I’ve got a lot going on and constantly crying. I don’t really want to go into detail.

I am not suicidal as such but if someone gave me something that would cause me no pain I’d take it and end this crap life.

I can understand your perspectives, all the best and positivity op

I think you need to go and talk to someone instead of posting here... reach out to friends or family and book an appointment at the GP or ideally with a therapist privately if you can afford that.

I feel like that sometimes, yes. I think it's normal to have moments of deep despair, but if it's taking over and you're feeling like that all the time, something is wrong and needs putting right. You don't want to go into detail which I can understand, but is there anyone who can support you in real life? Is it possible to access counselling, perhaps through your workplace as NHS waiting lists are endless? I hope this is a feeling you can get through somehow to a better place Flowers

Hello OP, we are really sorry to hear you are feeling this way.

We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources. You can also go to the Samaritans website or email them on [email protected]. Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek RL help and support as well.

We are going to move this thread to the Mental Health section shortly so you can keep getting support and advice Flowers

Yes life is overwhelming. I might sound odd but talking out load to myself about everything and then responding really helps. I have a positive inner voice which helps when the world is attacking

geraniumsandsunshine · 16/10/2022 21:39

@Helplessandshit focus on the small things even if they are very small eg a warm pair of socks and snuggling in your duvet. One day, in fact, one hour at a time

VerifiedBot2351 · 16/10/2022 21:49

yes I know what you mean. It will pass (that’s what I always tell myself) but it’s awful while it lasts.

Mimilamore · 17/10/2022 09:45

Yep, keep crying at all sorts of things/ thoughts... mix of nostalgia/ melancholy and feel untethered if that makes sense.
I'm sure it will Pass but horrible when you're in it...we are living in strange times xxx
