My aunt is very mentally ill and has had a nervous breakdown in the past year and has become very paranoid, depressed, and refuses to shower or eat properly and goes days without sleep. She was also arrested last month for screaming in the street at night and trying to hit a police officer, they then took her to hospital but ended up discharging her less than 24 hours later.. Now some mental health people are coming to see her once a day but my aunt still isn't taking her medication and it seems no one is able to help her.. Is there anything that can be done for her? She doesn't realise she's ill and refuses to go to the gp or even speak to anyone on the phone
