Propranolol for anxiety

Evening all,

I've been prescribed a low dose of propranalol for anxiety/panic but ironically I'm worried about taking my first dose in case it makes me feel worse. Any positive stories please to help me be brave enough to take it?

@Lockdownmum1010 thank you for posting! I just wondered how you were getting on with it? I have some to start taking but like you I’m a little apprehensive!

It's not been a magic cure but it's definitely helped. Takes the edge off when I've felt panicky and haven't had any side effects apart from if I take it too late in the day I can't sleep! I've only been taking quite a low dose, but it helps just having it there as I know it will kick in if I need it too. Good luck with it!
