EUPD & lack of support

Hi,

I was wondering If there are any others who have this condition and have noticed the stigma and lack of support from M.H professionals?

I have been doing everything in my power to help keep my EUPD at bay, attending therapy, learning to sit with the emotions, reaching out to help when needed and leading a more healthy lifestyle ( gym, walks etc to keep me busy and boost endorphins), however, I still struggle and have been having awful anxiety and weird thoughts where I think things are trying to tell me something/warn me.

Apart from waiting well over a week for a phone back from my CMHT, I have noticed that so many professionals make assumptions and deny you support. A perfect example is when I requested PRN via meds review. In the end I was told that the anxiety I'm getting is the eupd and they can't give me anything, despite me telling them it's relatively new symptom. They then suggested quetiapine which I react badly too and practically implied there are no other options. To top it off they twisted what I said, telling me that the reason why is because I've had lots of different meds and none have worked. Utter lies! They have, within reason, but sadly I get really bad side effects!!! Another example was in therapy when I tried to explain my difficulties and my therapist took it upon herself to link it to suppressed anger! I wasn't angry!!!!

In all, I am fed up of the bias system. I know people with other diagnosis and they aren't denied PRN or medication. They are given options and their symptoms are treated as real. Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, how have you dealt or overcome it? I feel really deflated and down as I have 0 options or support now.
