Zopiclone and diazepam

Ive been given 3.75mg zopiclone for sleeping and 5mg of diazepam for anxiety. I did ask the dr whether these could be taken alongside each other and he said yes, but I’m freaking out reading stuff online about it being a bad mix!

I last took 5mg diazepam at 12pm today. No other medications so far. I took 3.75mg zopiclone last night around midnight.

Does anyone else take these together? Obviously no more diazepam for me today and probably won’t have any unless really really bad tomorrow

Yes I've taken them both and together. Tend to not need them at the same time.

I'd trust your doctor rather than a random bunch on the internet though! .

Trust your GP. I've taken them together but not at the same time.

I was prescribed 10mg diazepam and 7.5 zolpidem (daily) by the crisis team. Fine to take together. Diazepam will calm you during the day and the Z drug will knock you out at night. I was advised to take as needed but to go with the smallest amount I could manage. Good luck

I took diazepam and zopiclone alongside each other when I was really unwell a while ago.
I was also taking sertraline and low dose quetiapine aswell.
