Looking for some advice

I've just recently become a new mum again to my second child and I'm finding it affecting it more than it did my first , I feel myself getting anxious , and I wondered if anyone has been through this and can offer a friendly ear

Sorry to hear you are struggling.
This happened to me after the birth of my second too. What form is your anxiety taking?

Congratulations on your new baby OP!

Those little ones are hard work and I hope you take moments in your day to really relax, even if it's just for a minute or so, those moments are just for you.

Do you have support IRL?

Thankyou , glad am not the only one , and I just feel crap , like because she's a greedy baby she's very demanding and I just get anxious when she wakes up it sounds stupid cos ive done this before but I just feel very overwhelmed , it's having a physical affect making me light headed and heart beating a little fast , I've had some blood test taken just waiting for the results, I feel completely useless

Do you think you are getting enough sleep? Do you take it in turns with your partner waking in the night with the baby? I was extremely sleep deprived (my baby woke up every hour for a really long time) and it contributed a lot to the anxiety I think. I left it too long to start anxiety medication and ended up feeling like I lost a lot of time consumed by it because for me it got progressively quite extreme, if you feel like it is getting out of hand I would suggest you take a trip to your GP to see if they will give you something to help.

Yeah I get enough sleep and she doesn't massively wake up in the night where lucky in that respect ,and yeah I'm trying some home remedies before going on medication as I've been told once you get on them tablets it's hard to get off them ,
