Relative has long standing MH needs. Used to be in and out of hospital with overdoses. Would usually call someone who had a professional responsibility to then call ambulance. She would then refuse to go to hosp saying she never asked the ambulance to come.

She now has some physical health issues but it now seems as if she has latched onto these as a nice way to get attention. She says she has fallen but when ambulance gets there she's sitting on the floor with door unlatched ready for them having moved stuff out the way so they can get in (hoarder so loads of stuff).

Two ambulances tonight as she discharged herself then did it again.

3 hours sleep for me as I get called by police at 3.30am

I am just so fed up of this.

Go no contact. Ambulances are a scarce resource in many places, this needs to be discouraged.

I think it gets to the point where you have to just walk away.

I think I have to. It's literally been the last couple of days it's all kicked off again.

It was speaking to a friend of hers Thursday evening and realising both of us had the same thoughts re the attention seeking that has crystallised that this is more MH than physical.

In less than 48 hours there have been two sets of police and 3 sets of ambulance people involved. It's draining.

I also have to support parents, my mum feels very sorry for her and finds it hard to recognise what is actually caused by her.

I'm a single parent with demanding job and trying to deal with this as well is too much.

I had started to recognise that I felt it was attention seeking needing me to take her places because she couldn't manage a bus / taxi / walk when she jump happily on a bus
2 hours later. Treating a trip to the disability aids shop like she was a kid in a toy shop with some money to spend.
