I am 69 and live with my dd 32 who has had mental health problems all her adult life. The last 12 months has been hell, and I have thought of leaving many times. I am all she has though.
Although initially diagnosed with a borderline personality disorder, query bipolar, very little has been done to help her from the community MH team. It is her belief that she has ADHD/Autism and she would like to get independently assessed for this.
Is there anyone who has been through this, and how difficult is it?
If possible I would like clinic names and locations, we are in Wales but would travel.
Her self harming is escalating since we lost our beloved dog in March, and my heart bleeds for her. All I can do is be there for her.
